We believe in emotional safety, real connection, and growth that lasts.
About Empowered Futures
Empowered Futures exists because we believe something deeply and unapologetically: people grow best when they feel emotionally safe, deeply understood, and genuinely supported — not managed, rushed, or fixed.
Rooted in trauma-informed practices and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), we create heart-centered spaces where children, teens, and adults can build confidence, emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and real-life leadership skills. Our work prioritizes emotional safety, connection, and individual growth — because every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.
Our Story
Empowered Futures was founded by Ashlee Stabile and MacKenzie Mahoney, two people who care deeply about this work and who have spent years showing up in it.
Our passion grew from real experience — sitting on floors with overwhelmed kids, supporting teens through anxiety and identity questions, and working closely with adults navigating stress, burnout, and big life transitions. Through running programs, facilitating groups, and offering individualized support, we saw again and again that when people feel safe and supported, growth follows.
Too often, behavior is addressed without context and emotions are met with pressure instead of care. Empowered Futures was created to be different.
A place where emotions are allowed.
Where nervous systems are supported, not controlled.
Where accountability exists without fear.
And where growth is built through connection, not compliance.
Our Experience & Approach
Our expertise comes from years of hands-on, relational work — designing and leading programs, mentoring individuals, and creating environments where people feel safe enough to grow.
Our approach is shaped by:
Trauma-informed, relationship-based care
Social-emotional learning in real-world settings
Co-regulation and nervous system support
Strengths-based leadership development
Consistency, curiosity, and trust
While Empowered Futures LLC is not a licensed therapeutic or clinical provider, our work is grounded in what we’ve seen work in real life: connection, emotional safety, and meaningful support.
We don’t believe people need to be fixed.
We believe they need understanding, tools, and space to become who they already are.
What We Believe.
At Empowered Futures, we believe:
Behavior is communication.
Growth is not linear — and that’s okay.
Connection comes before correction.
Emotional safety is the foundation for learning and leadership.
People deserve dignity, especially in hard moments.
Adults deserve support, not blame or burnout.
We proudly welcome and affirm people of all races, ethnicities, cultures, gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, family structures, religions, abilities, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Belonging isn’t a promise — it’s a practice.
Our Mission & Vision
We empower people of all ages — children, teens, and adults — to build confidence, emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and grounded leadership through trauma-informed, strengths-based learning.
Our programs support self-discovery, regulation, communication, and resilience — helping people navigate challenges with confidence and compassion.
We envision a world where emotional intelligence is valued as much as achievement, leadership is human-centered, and people feel supported — at home, in school, at work, and in their communities.
Our work is designed not only to help people thrive today, but to equip them with the skills, self-trust, and emotional awareness that serve them throughout their lives.
Empowered Futures is committed to creating respectful, inclusive, and emotionally safe environments. We honor each person’s identity, lived experience, and emotional journey, and actively work to reduce barriers to participation.
While our programs include individuals with a wide range of emotional, social, and developmental needs, we approach all interactions through a relational, trauma-informed lens. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, and we encourage individuals to seek licensed clinical, therapeutic, or medical providers when support outside our scope is needed.
All tools, strategies, and growth plans are designed to support connection, accountability, and resilience — without shame or fear. Our Commitment to Care & Inclusion
We believe everyone deserves a place where they feel supported and valued.
Where they feel safe.
Where they know they matter.
We are honored to walk alongside you.
